Port Pirie Museum

This was a great small National Trust Museum.
The building itself was the old railway station and behind it was the old police station which is part of the Museum.
We had driven through Port Pirie so many times to the mid north and further but never stayed there to look at the sites. It was an eyeopener - a large town and apart from the Smelters which is the main industry there was lots to see.
And we did day trips each day too.
As you can see with the last few posts we had a lovely time in our caravan - a good way to relax and dust off the cobwebs.

Today I have been doing some commissioned work - four silk quilts - will post a little later so keep watching. It is lovely to get back to piecing.
