The Main Exhibition - SAlt The
Fabric Trail - Journeys of Five Textile Artists
Friday 6 - 23 March 2015
The Millicent Gallery, Civic
& Arts Centre
The exhibition is a collection of
fabric artworks that explore elements of the theme 'journeys' and encompasses
various fabric techniques and ideas through contemporary and traditional
media. A group of five textile artists, from emerging to established
practitioners, joined to explore, experiment and to challenge themselves to
collaborate, critique, affirm and help consolidate individual modes of
expression.
It was a great night - loads of people and much interest in the exhibition - it is a beautiful gallery indeed.
Thanks to the Gallery and its staff.
