The Main Exhibition - SAlt The Fabric Trail - Journeys of Five Textile Artists
Friday 6 - 13 March 2015
The Millicent Gallery, Civic & Arts Centre

The exhibition is a collection of fabric artworks that explore elements of the theme 'journeys' and encompasses various fabric techniques and ideas through contemporary and traditional media.  A group of five textile artists, from emerging to established practitioners, joined to explore, experiment and to challenge themselves to collaborate, crtique, affirm and help consolidate individual modes of expression.

More Applique

This time the work is using sheers. I think these are wonderful - creative use of sheer fabrics - very exciting work. Lovely use of delicate fabrics.
