Fruit in my Garden

Now here are some photos of what I have growing to eat in my garden - fruit and nuts. We have a huge garden with lots of fruit trees - many nearly ready for pruning but some fruiting now - mainly the citrus - lemons, limes, mandarins and oranges, and of course the walnut tree which is next door and drops it nuts over our fence - how nice.

Lemon -Meyer - a small tree at the moment but loaded with lemons

Oranges - second year - smallish tree at the moment

Pomegranate - how lovely to draw - haven't quite got the cooking of them yet

Lime - new flowers - more limes to come?

Walnuts - and more to collect today

Our Street

Our street (or rather) has been for many months undergoing surgery - a new street but at the moment it is mud and more mud but when it is finished I think it will be the race track again as it was before.
We may be able to get our caravan out for a trip - ha! When who knows????
But we will have a new street sometime???
I wonder???
But we do have new kerbs and driveways but not the road.

In my Garden

A few problems in the garden - the storm blew over a section of one of our palm trees and the other palm is "seeding".
I love my garden at this time of the year. It is cool or rather cold, wet and lush.

Trunk of our now gone palm

Palm tree bent over  in the storm

The 'seeding' of the palm - I just love the shapes

Detail of 'seeds' on the palm

I really love the details on the palms - need to be some textiles with all my garden photos
